Laura Wright Biography
Laura Wright has been creating stories for 20 years. She is a prolific Appalachian author who enjoys incorporating all the local color and sensation possible in her work. She cites Ray Bradbury and George Orwell amid her favorite authors along with Edgar Allan Poe, Algernon Blackwood, Shirley Jackson, W. W. Jacobs, and Guy De Maupassant.
Wright has an extensive number of non-fiction credentials. She has worked with "The Business Journal," "The Tennessee Style Magazine," as well as numerous other publications. She teaches web design and works as a resident software expert with an overseas company.
