  1. Loverly,

Titanic has been a major area of inspiration and study to me for most of my life, so I am familiar with the stories. And, yes, the sheer number of people who had omens prior to boarding (even during the trip) was considerable. This aspect of the Titanic legend I have always found truly fascinating. I appreciate your post. Maybe you can delve deeper into the subject in future posts?

    • Hi! Thank you very much, I’m glad you liked it. I’ve heard of that for years, the old television program “One Step Beyond,” (the primitive Twilight Zone), actually devoted an episode to the truthful omen that saved one woman’s life, as well as the painter who had the strange urge to paint a portrait of a sinking ship the night it happened. He worked in advertising (he drew/designed ads) so it was a shock to all when he finished it.

I’ll check out your links and thanks for posting them! Sometimes I think the stories behind these terrible events are just as fascinating as the events themselves.
